What is your foundation for your business? I’d like to share you mine.
In our work we can have top of the mountain kind of days and we can also have the complete opposite. The key is to keep going even if you’re starting to see some mud on your feet, just keep going through the mud until you are out the other side.
As I was browsing on Amazon one day I was so delighted to be able to find this Creative Bible.
I knew this would be my Christmas gift to myself.
What got me so excited is that there’s lots of pages with lines down the sides so I can journal and make notes and there’s also beautiful pictures I can colour with my new highlighters , pencil crayons and gel pens. Although the pens are only good for the heavier pages in this bible as they do bleed through the regular light pages. I still love the pens for journaling though.
Was I ever surprised when I opened up the package to see that the Bible has pink roses all along the side of it, which if you don’t know, Monroe Roses are my ultimate favourite. I definitely had some tears.
I immediately opened up the Bible and found my key “life stamp” scripture :
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.
I also coloured out my first page, placed my name in it and it all gave me such joy in my heart to have it.
My scripture is all about thinking about the good things in life which truly is living a life of gratitude.
Having gratitude for everything you have been given helps grow your heart to brand new levels.
When you have a thankful heart, it can have a positive effect on both physical and mental health. It improves relaxation, sleep quality and energy levels. Being thankful for your blessings can enhance your emotional wellness.
You’ll deal better in crisis situations and find you’re more resilient when you’re able to look on the bright side. This can contribute to better relationships, too.
Appreciating the positives in life can simply make you feel happier.
Today I’m sharing my gratitude for my new Creative Bible which is the foundation of how I build my life and work within my business… especially during these tough times we are in.
My business drastically reduced when everything shut down as I work with live events, which is how I set up my life… to work on things that brought joy to others.
So I’ve also had to adjust not only financially but emotionally once again too. I’ve been here before and guess what, as long as I keep my grateful heart, I know everything is going to be ok.
